Java Number pattern 17 program using For loop

Write "Java"  program to print below Number Pattern 17:

To understand this example, you should have knowledge of the following topics:

·  Java For loop
·   Java programming operators.

Java Number pattern 17 program using For loop:
class numberPattern17
{
public static void main(String[] ags)
{
    int i,j,k;
  for(i=1;i<=5;i++)
  {
    if(i%2==0)
    {
      k=2;
    }
    else
    {
      k=1;
    }
    for(j=1;j<=i;j++,k+=2)
    {
      System.out.printf("%d ", k);
    }
    System.out.println();
  }
 }
}
Output:
1
24
135
2468
13579
Explanation:
  • First two integers "i", and "j" are declared of type int.
  • Then in the First for loop “i” value is initialized with a value 5.
  • Now “i” value is checked with the condition i <= 5 that is (1 <= 5). So the condition is True.
  • Now Loop check if condition "i % 2" if the condition is True k value becomes "2" if the condition is false K value becomes "1"
  • Now the loop enters into second for loop and checks the condition j <= i. Where "j = 1". and the condition is True print the value of "k".
  • The value of "j" prints up to condition becomes False.
  • Now the value of "i" will be incremented by the condition "i = i++" and executes the loop.
  • when the value of "i"  becomes "6" the program terminates.
